Words with….Tracey Adamson

Tracey Adamson has been a mediator since 2011. As a co-founder of Concord Conflict Solutions, she mediates workplace and family conflict, specialising in supporting older people, and those around them, as they deal with the challenges that come in later life. Tracey lives in London but remains the proud owner of an accent forged during a childhood in South Wales.

What is your fondest memory?
Difficult to pick one but I was in a family gathering just recently where I was aware that this was the making of a fond memory. We ranged from age 14-90 and there were a lot of good vibes. There are always ups and down in any family, but I could feel ‘the glue’ between us that afternoon. It felt precious.

What is your proudest moment?
I was chuffed to have achieved EMIN certification as an Elder Mediator in 2022. It was rigorous, and there are only three of us in England who have it. It’s given me a hugely valuable knowledge base, plus a global network of committed, lovely people to tap into.

What three words best describe you?
Thorough, thoughtful, reliable.

What don’t people know about you?
I’m quite brave.

How would you want to be remembered?
With a smile and a warm fuzzy feeling would be fine by me!
