But we forget the most powerful medicine: connection: a nod, or a wave.
When I drove a Defender, I loved the wave.

A lift of the hand.
You’re part of something.
Now I ride a motorbike. It’s a nod. Same idea, same feeling. You’re not alone out here.
Tiny gestures — but they matter.
As we age, we don’t need fewer connections. We need more.
More cups of tea.
More phone calls.
More clubs and shared projects. And more nods and waves.
People live longer when they feel part of something — not because it’s nice, but because it’s vital.
So nod and wave. Say hello.
It might just save someone’s life — maybe even yours.
